With a resume so suave, it does not come as a surprise that students appearing for the Class 10th Board exams in West Bengal found a question regarding the run-making machine in their English Paper. The English examination paper consisted a compulsory question of 10 marks where they had to write a short profile of Virat Kohli based on the points mentioned in the question paper.
Over 1.1 million students appeared to give the paper, as per the report. The report cited remarks from TMC legislator Laxmi Ratan Shukla who appreciated the initiative of asking a question on Kohli. “Besides being an icon, Kohli’s life is about dedication, hard work, and discipline, which can be an example for students. I appreciate the gesture and I hope in future there will be questions on sporting icons not only in Madhyamik but other board examinations as well,” she said.
Virat Kohli is currently resting from the ongoing Nidahas Trophy and will return with R.C.B. (Royal Challengers Bangalore) in this year’s IPL.
