Scotland police had a bizarre encounter with… wait for it… a stuffed toy.
Yep, you heard it right. Cops in Scotland ended up in a 45-minute standoff with a large stuffed tiger.
The incident took place after a farmer based out of Peterhead town in Scotland’s Aberdeenshire council, called in the authorities thinking a big cat had invaded his cowshed.
During a housewarming party at his place, farmer Bruce Grubb went out to check on his cows when he felt he saw a “tiger” on a ramp.
Following the farmer’s panic call to the authorities, a large number of units saw deployment on spot. There was a special unit with live ammunition to cover all possibilities.
Eventually, they realized it was a toy.
“Until you know exactly what you are dealing with, every option is under consideration”. Peterhead Inspector George Cordiner told news agency Associated Press.
