Ram Charan starer Rangasthalam 1985 still in the shooting stages has amassed a humongous Rs.10 crore deal for the Hindi satellite rights.
The makers of the Ram Charan Teja starrer Rangasthalam 1985 are busy with the shooting. As the deadline for the film’s release approaches closer work is on full swing. The movie screen on March 31 next year.
While the film is still in the shooting stages, the Hindi satellite rights sold out for a humongous price. Going by certain reports, the film has reportedly fetched Rs. 10 crore for the Hindi satellite rights alone. Ram Charan’s movie is definitely on a good graph.
Further, reports suggest that a popular Telugu satellite channel has shelled out a huge amount for its Telugu rights. This proves that the pre-release business of Rangasthalam is going on as expected.
Direction department chief is Sukumar. Meanwhile a group of popular faces are bankrolling the period drama on a budget of Rs. 45 crore. Production responsibles are Naveen Yerneni, Y Ravi Shankar, Mohan Cherukuri, Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan under the banner Mythri Movie Makers. Surekha Konidela presenting it.
Ram Charan and Samantha Akkineni are playing the lead pair in this flick. Meanwhile Jagapathi Babu, Rambha, Gouthami and Aadhi Pinisetty will also appear in pivotal roles. Pooja Hegde will be making a special appearance in a song.
Devi Sri Prasad has composed music for this film with R Rathnavelu working on the camera and Navin Nooli editing it. Sources close to the Rangasthalam film unit say that the team will be wrapping up the shooting later this month and the post production would begin.
Earlier, there were plans to release Rangasthalam for Sankranti but this was postponed as Pawan Kalyan’s film is gearing up for release at that time.
Expectations are high on Rangasthalam as it has Ram Charan and Samantha pairing up on the silver screens for the first time. Further, director Sukumar is riding high on success with his last outing, Nanaku Prematho, which had Jr NTR in the lead turning out to be a big hit.
