Ivanka Trump writes a letter of Thanks for the warm hospitality, to Telangana CM, a month after her tour to India.
A month after her visit to India, Ivanka Trump, US President Donald Trump’s daughter and advisor, has written to Telangana chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, appreciating the hospitality extended to her during her three-day stay in Hyderabad.
In November, Trump visited India to participate in the G.E.S. Global Entrepreneurship Summit 2017, which also saw the likes of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Telangana chief minister. She had led a 360-member American delegation for the summit.
During her visit, she also attended a dinner hosted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Taj Falakhnuma, the palace hotel in the old city.
In her letter to the chief minister, Ivanka described her experience in India as “incredible and inspiring”, and thanked the CM for his “warm hospitality” during her stay, news agency ANI reported.
“I also want to thank you for the exquisite gift that you presented to me at the Falakhnuma Palace. I am deeply touched by your thoughtful gesture and by the warmth of the people of Telangana. Looking forward to returning to India in the near future.” She further said in the letter, as per ANI report.

During her stay in the city, the state ensured deployment of more than 10,000 security personnel. Telangana Director General of Police M Mahender Reddy acknowledges the fact.
According to a source, this was the tightest security cordoning a foreign woman. Surely who is not the head of a state or government, in Hyderabad’s history.
