Great news for fans as the confirmation from the I.P.L. (Indian Premier League) Authorities reveal Ranveer Singh will be performing a 15-min act in the opening ceremony.

Bollywood’s core energy house  – Ranveer Singh will grace the opening ceremony of the 11th edition of the I.P.L. (Indian Premier League). The man of the moment -Ranveer – is in top form. We surely had shivers down our spines by his gripping act in Padmaavat.

Meanwhile, if the latest buzz is anything to go by, the hunk of an actor will ride on a fee of Rs. 5 crores for the 15-minute act as a part of the opening ceremony.

Yes, you read that right. And the organizers of the event felt only he would be ideal for the act.

According to a report, a source shares the following thought.

“He will be shaking a leg for about 15 minutes, but the organizing team was always clear that they want Ranveer as a performer and that’s why he is so valuable.”

“His appeal cuts across cities, age-groups and has an equally big fan following among men and women. That’s why the organizers feel that he is the perfect fit for the performance at this year’s IPL opening ceremony.”

Ranveer is indeed going places! The actor, who began his career by playing a boy-next-door in Yash Raj Films’ Band Baajaa Baarat, is now one of the most desirable artists in the Tinsel Town. He has a couple of interesting projects in his kitty and we can’t wait to watch him on the silver screen again.

After the Alauddin Khilji-act in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat, Ranveer will feature as a rapper in Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy and a police officer named Sangram Bhalerao in Rohit Shetty’s Simmba.

He also has Kabir Khan’s film titled ’83 based on legendary cricketer Kapil Dev.
