Twitter trolls MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings for ‘30-plus love’ at IPL 2018 Auction, the new CSK squad comprises 11 players above the 30-year mark.
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) had a busy time at the Indian Premier League (IPL) auctions held in Bengaluru recently.
While CSK retained the trio of MS Dhoni, Suresh Raina and Ravindra Jadeja, they also acquired the services of some young talents like Dhruv Shorey, Kshitiz Sharma, KM Asif among others.
The team will be led by Dhoni once again, whereas former New Zealand captain Stephen Fleming will be the team’s head coach.
Notably, the two-time champions currently have 11 players who are aged above 30, including the trio who were retained. Altogether, the team has a strength of 25 players.
CSK took to Twitter to share their entire squad.
Dear Super Fans, thank you for all the patience, prayers, roars and whistles in the past two days! Just like all our matches, it was a nail-biting finish. Presenting the #PrideOf18. Here's wishing them a roaring summer ahead!??? #NewTeamSamePride #WhistlePodu #SummerIsComing pic.twitter.com/zqTXa3ZFTm
