The star kid has many talents indeed. The movie is a modern-day retelling of Devdas, which is surely a multilingual affair according to a source.

Arjun Reddy, a coming of age drama film, saw direction by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Pranay Reddy Vanga under the banner Bhadrakali Pictures successfully fund the movie. The film is about a Telugu boy falling in love with a Tulu girl and deals with their whirlwind relationship.

The original version saw the likes of Vijay Deverakonda who made his acting debut in 2011 with Nuvvilla. Since then his appearances in films such as Life is Beautiful, Yevade Subramanyam and Pelli Choopulu.  is quite notable.

Shalini Pandey also played the female lead of the film. While Dhruv would be reprising the role done by Vijay Deverakonda, there is no announcement yet regarding the female lead of the remake.

Arjun Reddy was made on a budget of Rs. 5 crore and it went on to gross over Rs. 51 crore at the box office. Hope Varma does justice to the story.
